Set of 3, made in Japan.
Colorful mid-century 1950's Picture Transfer Books.
Each colorful paper booklet has four pages inside with six transfers on each page that don’t necessarily relate to the cover.
These transfer decals were sold as "penny toys" and will transfer with water, and were also used as tattoos for kids back then!
Each one measures 3.5 inches by 2 inches.
New old stock. Never used, however there is a slight curve to the books. All colors are crisp, bright, and none are faded
These decals would appeal to the collector of ephemera, outer space, sci-fi, 1950s toy, science fiction, rockets, comic book collector, Japan Anime, Penny Tattoos, temporary tattoos,  etc.
The creature on one cover is Mogera, a robot with laser beam eyes that appeared in the Mysterians and Earth Defense Force, a 1957 Japanese science fiction film. M.O.G.E.R.A. The M.O.G.U.E.R.A. acronym stands for "Mobile Operation Godzilla Universal Expert Robot Aero-type.
