    Description

    We have for sale one four foot length of hardened 3/8"security chain.  (The chains are 8' in length and one link is lost when they are cut into two pieces.  This makes the actual length 3' 10"-11")  It is new government surplus.  It is hardened alloy steel that includes exotic metals for strength and durability.
    It is big and heavy and when you hold it in your hands you can tell that it is special chain.
    It can not be cut with bolt cutters no matter how big.  It will shatter the jaws of the cutters.  I have a pair of 48" HK Porter bolt cutters and I tried to cut this chain with them.  Couldn't do it.
    The chain you receive will look just like what is in the photos.  Every foot or so they are embossed with a mark showing the grade.
    The inside opening diameter of the link is right at 1/2".   For reference a AA battery will pass through the opening.
