    Here's a rare applied lip Allen's Iron Tonic Bitters bottle from Saint Paul, Minnesota...complete with both of its original labels!

    boldly emb at base on lower front below label.....Main front label reads in part: ALLEN'S IRON TONIC BITTERS For Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Liver Complaint...etc...Back label reads in part: Allen's Iron Tonic Bitters (lists all the many diseases and ailments it claimed to be good for...also advertises Allen's Ulcerine Salve....Bottle is hand blown in mold, bimal....circle post mold smooth base...crude drippy applied square ring collar....amber....round....8 1/4"tall....Excellent attic nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with original cork stopper in neck.  Both labels have some damage but nice overall.  Allen's Iron Tonic Bitters was advertised in newspapers by 1883, but this bottle could be from the 1870s. I have never seen another one before, so I'm sure it is a very scarce bottle with the labels.  I am thinning out some of my collection so here's your chance to get some great bottles!....
